We had two classes in the morning, and we ate lunch with Dr. Hallion. I share ice cream and a sandwich with Kyoko and Misa. The ice cream was too big and sweet. In the afternoon, there was a Dr. Hallion’s class. She told us a history of America. I studied world history when I was in high school, so I could understand what she was saying. In the evening, we went to the fashion center. Shania and Joe’s two friends also came with us. When I talked with Shania on the metro, I thought her and my liking is similar. Shania took us to cheaper, cute shops. I bought a dress, cosmetics, and accessories. It was fun and I was satisfied very much. On the return to the College Park, I laughed a lot, because Sahori was funny and made me laugh!

It is true that when you have some prior knowledge of the topic, it is much easier to understand a lecture in your second language. Even for me, understanding a lecture in English about physics would be difficult (maybe impossible) because I don't have background in physics. So studying world history in high school helped to prepare you to understand Dr Hallion's lecture yesterday.
I think you will remember the fun and laughter of these days for a long time!
